009-2010 Calendar for Faculty Review, Retention, and P&T

The calendar for the 2009-2010 annual faculty review and retention decisions, as well as promotion and tenure workshops and due dates is now posted.

As you can see, the calendar has been greatly simplified by combining annual evaluations and retentions in the fall.  Having said that, we are still in the process of approving several issues related to these procedures through the Faculty Senate. Those changes have been made to at least partially reduce the burden of these decisions on department heads.  As soon all of these process changes are approved, I will communicate them to you.  In addition, we plan a workshop on faculty evaluation procedures and best practice for the fall, prior to starting this new faculty evaluation cycle. 

In the meantime, please post these dates to your calendar.  Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
