Governor’s Chairs
To date nine appointments of Governor’s Chair positions have been made between the University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, eight at UT Knoxville and one at the Health Sciences Center in Memphis. Seven of the UTK-ORNL GC hires have taken place in the last 12 months, as the process of interviewing, offering, and hiring has accelerated significantly. The eight Governor’s Chairs appointed between ORNL and UTK are listed below.
