Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs: Sarah Gardial

As Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, Dr. Gardial oversees the recruitment, advancement, and development of faculty, including faculty concerns related to fairness, equity, and respect on the campus.

She also works with department heads and deans on issues related to faculty performance and workplace concerns, coordinates and guides the promotion, tenure and faculty evaluation processes, as well as the faculty development leave program.

Dr. Gardial conducts and facilitates training and workshops related to new faculty orientation, P&T workshops, and administrative leadership skills for deans, directors and department heads.

She also works with the faculty senate on revisions to the Faculty Handbook.
