Vice Provost for Academic Affairs: Sally McMillan

Sally J. McMillan is Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She collaborates with many campus leaders to continually improve the academic experience of students. She leads the team working on the undergraduate priority area of the strategic plan with a focus on enrollment management, retention, and graduation. McMillan oversees service learning, online education, summer school and data tracking efforts and also monitors success of a wide range of undergraduate programs such as first-year studies, general education, and transfer student services. She focuses on quality enhancement through her work on policy development, academic program review, and coordination of statewide higher-education priorities. McMillan is also a Professor in the School of Advertising and Public Relations.
