Join us for lunch and an afternoon of sessions designed to provide campus units and academic departments with information about UTK’s transfer students.
Keynote speaker Jane Rex, Director of Appalachian State University’s Office of Transfer Student Services, will discuss national trends in transfer student profiles and help participants understand how to support transfer students as they negotiate a transition to UTK’s academic and social environment. Breakout sessions will help participants learn more about transfer students needs at UTK.
A panel of UTK transfer students will give participants the opportunity to hear first-hand about the transfer student experience at UTK, and will help us collectively identify best practices and opportunities for improvement.
