Faculty Pubs

Faculty PubNetwork with colleagues at the remaining Faculty Pub events this semester.

Pubs will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on September 27 and October 25 in the Lauricella Center of Neyland Stadium. Enter Gate 21A, which is near the Alumni Memorial Building. There will be limited parking in Staff Lot 9 after 5 p.m.

These pubs will feature free appetizers and a cash-only bar with discounted drinks from 4 to 5 p.m.

A special end-of-semester Faculty Pub will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on December 6 in Hotel Knoxville (formerly the Marriott) at 501 E. Hill Avenue. This pub will feature free appetizers, beverages, and specialty cocktails provided by Hotel Knoxville and Sugarlands Distilling Company.

Coffee and Conversation

Faculty are invited to join Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor David Manderscheid for Coffee and Conversation to discuss timely matters and issues of concern.

Events are scheduled for October 16 and November 19. Each will take place 8 to 9 a.m. in the Mary Greer Room (Room 258) of Hodges Library. Starbucks coffee and snacks will be provided.

Mic/Nite

Mic Nite LogoThis fall’s “Pecha-Kucha Powered” social gathering featuring presentations about some of the interesting research happening across campus will be held on November 8 at the Relix Variety Theatre, 1208 N. Central Street.

Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., and the presentations begin at 6:30 p.m.

Free pizza and a cash bar will be available.
