Dear colleagues,
I wanted to update you on the status of the search for the next dean of the College of Communication & Information.
The search committee has been formed, and I couldn’t be more pleased to announce that Ellen McIntyre, dean of the College of Education, Health & Human Sciences has generously agreed to chair the search committee. Dean McIntyre has served as dean of CEHHS since January 2020, and previously served as the dean of the College of Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her former experiences overseeing the creation of a doctoral program and research advancement at UNC Charlotte, as well as her leadership of CEHHS, will provide the committee with outstanding guidance when searching for the next dean of CCI.
