Taking Applications for Faculty Fellows Positions

Dear Colleagues,

We hope the fall semester is going well for each of you. We want to share two innovative Faculty Fellows programs in the Office of the Provost and Division of Student Success. We welcome applications, inquiries, and nominations for both programs, which will commence in spring 2023.

Haslam Scholars Faculty Fellows

The Haslam Scholars Faculty Fellows program is an exciting initiative that seeks to connect highly motivated and talented honors students, the Haslam Scholars, with UT faculty. This initiative is supported by generous funding from a donor to promote innovative teaching and learning practices. Faculty with scholarly work in leadership will be prioritized. For a complete description of the program, including application requirements, qualifications, deliverables, and stipend, please visit our webpage.

Volunteer Experience Faculty Fellows

In support of Goal One of UT’s Strategic Vision, the Volunteer Experience Faculty Fellows program will be comprised of faculty interested in learning about well-being pedagogy and promoting well-being constructs amongst the faculty in their respective departments. In collaboration with Teaching and Learning Innovation and Student Success partners, Volunteer Experience Faculty Fellows will engage with and promote best practices in undergraduate instruction using a well-being framework. For a complete description of the program, including application requirements, qualifications, deliverables, and stipend, please visit our webpage.

Applications for either Faculty Fellows program should be submitted to the vice provost for Student Success at vpss@utk.edu. The deadline for applications is October 7, and selected faculty will be notified by October 21.

In the Volunteer spirit,

John Zomchick
