Led by Interim Vice Provost Beth Foster, the Division of Academic Affairs is responsible for overseeing and managing the academic programs, policies, and initiatives that are essential to the institution’s educational mission.
This division also supports academic excellence through university-wide programs that enrich the entire university community. Initiatives supervised by the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs include academic assessment and accreditation, the emergence of artificial intelligence in higher education, and annual curriculum review.
Academic Affairs is involved in the development, review, and modification of academic programs, courses, and degree requirements. This includes designing new programs, revising existing ones, and ensuring alignment with the institution’s educational objectives and standards.
