Stephen L. Mangum, dean of the Haslam College of Business and Stokely Foundation Leadership Chair, has informed me that he will retire at the end of this academic year.
Appointed dean in 2013, Steve is leading Haslam through a period of extraordinary growth and accomplishment, building on the strong foundation of business college leaders who preceded him.
The excellent work at Haslam continues with many impactful and exciting developments in progress. Later in the academic year, we will have the opportunity to reflect on the college’s accomplishments during Steve’s tenure.
A national search for Haslam’s next dean will begin later this fall. Details about the search committee are forthcoming.
