The 2026 Volunteer of Distinction awards celebrate outstanding undergraduate and graduate students who received their degrees in Summer 2025, Fall 2025, or will receive their degrees in Spring 2026. Recipients will be honored at a special event in March.
Volunteer of Distinction honorees are:
- Students who have exhibited extraordinary academic achievement, community engagement, outstanding teaching (graduate students), or excellence in research
- Seniors who hold the highest GPAs in their colleges
- Student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom
To Nominate a Student
Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit VOD nominations by contacting the point of contact listed on the nominations page of the website. Nomination deadlines vary by college and are also listed on the page.
