Dear colleagues:
Tomorrow we will be one week out from the first day of classes for the fall 2020 semester. To ensure that the timetable is accurate as of that first day of class, the registrar will stop accepting modality and room change requests at 5 p.m. Thursday, August 13. The suspension will be in place until 8 a.m. Monday, August 24.
Please submit any requests for modality or room changes to your college office in order that the college can submit them to the registrar by the August 13 deadline.
I want to emphasize that the reason for this deadline is strictly operational. If we are to avoid chaos on opening day, we have to temporarily call a halt to modality and room change requests to allow the registrar the needed time to process the more than 1,000 changes the office has already received.
