Diane Kelly Accepting New Role

Colleagues, 

Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs Diane Kelly has accepted the endowed Wilson Distinguished Professorship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in UNC’s School of Information & Library Science. 

Diane was a professor at UNC before she came to UT in 2016 as professor and director of the School of Information Sciences. She joined the Office of the Provost in August 2020. I am excited for Diane to have this outstanding opportunity at UNC and thankful for her nearly four years of service in the Office of the Provost. 

Diane implemented numerous positive changes in Faculty Affairs. She is a thoughtful and dedicated leader. Her work, along with the efforts of her team, have benefited faculty across our campus. Diane will serve through June 30, 2024. 

Please join me in congratulating Diane on her new position and thanking her for her service to UT.
