Experience Learning Resources Available
Additional support, training and mentoring programs, and grant opportunities will be available this fall to help you revamp existing courses or create new courses to incorporate Experience Learning activities.
New Honors Programs Taking Shape
We are completing plans for two new Honors and Scholars programs that will debut in fall 2017, allowing us to enroll more than four hundred additional honors students and bringing us more in line with the honors enrollment at our peer institutions.
New Student Evaluation of Instruction to Launch this Fall
We plan to implement our new system for collecting student feedback about teaching this fall. We’re also creating a new policy for how it used in faculty evaluations.
STRIDE Takes Academic Approach to Advancing Diversity
As one part of our commitment to increasing campus diversity, we are continuing to explore ways of increasing the diversity among our world-class faculty. STRIDE is a faculty-led committee that’s helping us.

You may already be using ELEMENTS to track your scholarly publications and teaching activity. We’ll soon be adding more modules to this faculty activity reporting system so it will provide you with a comprehensive picture of your professional life.

Feedback Helps Finalize Vol Vision 2020
Our Milestone Review Committee interacted with more than 1,400 faculty, staff, students, and others to develop Vol Vision 2020, the refreshed version of our strategic plan. Your feedback helped us focus on issues we need to improve in our priority areas while also defining the attributes that make UT special.
