Faculty Women of Color in the Academy Conference Scholarships

The Faculty Women of Color in the Academy (FWCA) conference is a unique educational and professional opportunity for indigenous and women of color in higher education to network, engage, and learn with colleagues from around the country.

FWCA 2024 will feature sessions that explore the topics of leadership, career advancement, personal well-being and scholar activism. This year’s conference will take place April 11-14, 2024 in Arlington, Virginia.

UTK is a proud sponsor of this conference and is pleased to offer scholarships to members of the UTK community to attend this event.  Scholarships include conference registration and $500 in travel support. We encourage home units of selected applicants to also provide $500 in travel support.
